Sorry for the delay in getting these two meme answers out. It was my mom’s birthday, and I ended up babysitting my little sister and soon-to-be stepsister on the 20th, and then going to her party last night. It was hectic, but fun.

Ysilde. Because he rocks. He was originally intended to be a side character, and then he decided to claim the spotlight for himself. That was around the time that I realized that Larkenia was much more of an ensemble series than a story with a single protag. *nods*

18. Favorite antagonist and why!

I'm not very good at antagonists, tbh. I don't have many clear baddies, since I prefer things to be much more muddled than that. So, erm, I don't have a favorite. Sorry guys!

16. Do you write romantic relationships? How do you do with those, and how “far” are you willing to go in your writing? ;)

Yes, I write romantic relationships. I have no issues writing about romance of any variety, and I'm willing to go as far as necessary with their love and sex lives. I'm not afraid of writing about sex, kinky or otherwise.

15. Midway question! Tell us about a writer you admire, whether professional or not!

Neil Gaiman is someone I admire, even though I'm not fond of some of his works. I like his quirky sense of characters and plot, and his ability to work with a variety of mediums. He strikes me as a wonderfully odd storyteller, and that's awesome in my book.

Silly time change. I went to look for Cowboy Bebop on Adult Swim earlier, and got all flustered that it wasn't on. It took me way too long to realize that it was gone because the time had changed, and not because the network was getting rid of it.

13. What's your favorite culture to write, fictional or not?Supernatural creatures' subcultures, definitely. Other than that, well, I write about queer folks, but not necessarily queer culture -- I've never been a good fit for mainstream queer culture in my town, or with any of the mainstream queer magazines and things. *shrugs ( Read more... )
